I haven’t been writing as much as I have in the past and that’s because I’ve been stumbling (that’s not a bad thing).

Let me explain what I mean…

It’s been 4 years since I quit a stable job to pursue full-time entrepreneurship (Project Endure).

Over that time I’ve learned a lot and this blog is about one of the biggest, simplest and messiest lessons.

The grass looks greener on the other side of the fence because we don’t see the sh*t that our neighbors are using to fertilize (support the growth). In other words, building things and pursuing growth are hard, imperfect and uncomfortable processes that can feel like stumbling in the dark. When I say that I’ve been stumbling, that’s a statement that I’m proud of because it means I’m taking action before I can see the entire path ahead. I’ve been making progress as a result of persistence and at the same time, making mistakes while moving forward.

This “stumbling” doesn’t always feel the best and at times, it would be easier to stand still but then I remember that people don’t stumble across success while standing still. The luckiest people that I know are the ones who take relentless action and it’s convinced me that fortune favors the brave. With all of that being said, I’m not sure where I’m going with this blog but just like with business, I trust that something good might come out of it even if it’s just a reminder for me to keep going when things get hard (and maybe it can be that for you too).

Here’s to more stumbling (action) in whatever area of life you might feel stuck in…
