This blog will be a quick one with an important call to action.
If you couldn’t tell from the title, I’m going to be running the 2022 New York City Marathon!
I’m excited for the opportunity to participate in such a special event and I’m honored to be fundraising for the Partnership to End Addiction. I’m choosing to do a hard thing (train for and run the marathon) to raise money and support for people who are dealing with a hard thing (addiction). Rather than make this longer than it has to be, I’ll point you to a past blog for context as to why this is so important to me. I have a fundraising goal of $3,500 and like most things, I’d love to go above and beyond. Please consider supporting a great cause with the button below.
I’ll be sharing my training through social media for anyone who wants to follow along. In addition, I’m taking on a few new clients who will also be training for fall races, whether that’s a 5k, marathon or anything in between! If you’re interested in having guidance and encouragement in the realm of endurance training, I’d love to talk!
Over the coming months I’ll be training hard and keeping the big picture in mind – this is a small act of suffering that can serve a much greater purpose. If you decided to donate – thank you for making a difference and believing in this cause. If you decided that it wasn’t the right fit – thank you for considering and for reading this blog!
